RECIPE:
12 oz raw flat iron steak
Marinade:
1/4 of a Asian Pear or Fuji Apple- diced
¼ cup low sodium Soy Sauce
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon Gochuchang sauce
1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger

1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon sweet Japanese wine (I used Mirin)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 scallions - chopped
Top with sesame seeds
Thinly slice steak across the grain; transfer sliced steak to a large zip top bag or small bowl.
To the zip top bag or bowl add marinade ingredients; seal the bag and squish everything around to completely coat the meat with the marinade.
Let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, OR put in the fridge for up to 30 minutes.
When ready to cook, spray a pan with nonstick cooking spray over medium-high heat.
Add steak and marinade to pan and cook until caramelized and steak is cooked through.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
Serve with your favorite rice or on a lettuce wrap.
