RECIPE #1:
FOR THE APPLE CRISP SYRUP
1/4 cup concentrated apple juice, thawed
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
FOR THE APPLE CRISP MACCHIATO
1/2 cup low-fat milk
2 shots espresso or any coffee
2 tablespoons apple crisp syrup (recipe above)
Apple Crisp Syrup: Dissolve the sugar into the concentrated apple juice in a small saucepan set over medium-high heat. Lower the heat to medium and stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes on low heat, then remove and set aside.
Assembling Macchiato: Pour 2 tablespoons of the apple crisp syrup. Add milk and coffee. Stir and enjoy!!
RECIPE #2:
1/2 teaspoon Brown Sugar substitute
1/4-1/2 cup low-fat milk
1 teaspoon sugar free vanilla syrup
1 tablespoon apple juice concentrate
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Coffee of choice
Combine all ingredients, stir and enjoy!!
