Danish Meatballs

These were REALLY good!!! Loved the creamy sauce!


These would be great with mashed potatoes! Clean recipe and really delicious!

RECIPE:

1 pound 93% Ground Turkey

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

1 tablespoon Minced Onion

1/4 nonfat

Greek Yogurt

1/2 cup Breadcrumbs

1 Egg


SAUCE:

1 tablespoon Oil

1/4 cup Flour

2 cups Chicken Broth (or stock)

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 cup nonfat Greek Yogurt


Preheat oven to 375. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.


Add all of the meatball ingredients to a bowl and mix well with hands. Form into meatballs- I had 15 meatballs. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until cooked through.


Add sauce ingredients to a small bowl and whisk until combined. Move to saucepan and cook over medium high heat until thickened.


Pour gravy over meatballs & ENJOY!
