Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

Super easy and LOW CARB lunch or dinner recipe! Add it to your favorite roll for a sandwich!

So full of flavor! Filling and delicious! Makes great leftovers too!

RECIPE:

  • 1 pound flat iron or flank steak - thinly sliced

  • 1 onion

  • 2 ounces 1/3 less fat cream cheese

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

  • 6 slices provolone cheese

  • 2 medium bell peppers


  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Wash and slice the bell pepper, and slice the onion.

  • In a skillet over medium heat cook your ribeye steak until it has browned. Place meat into a 9 x 9 casserole dish.

  • Add the onions and peppers to the pan and sauté them until the onions are translucent and tender.

  • Stir in the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper.

  • Continue cooking until the cream cheese has completely melted and creating a sauce. Stir the vegetable mixture into the meat.

  • Top the mixture with the provolone cheese.

  • Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the provolone cheese is melted.
