RECIPE:
1 pound 99% Ground Turkey
1 tablespoon Poultry Seasoning
1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar Substitute (I used monkfruit)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/2 cups low-fat Milk
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon Butter- melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook sausage until browned. In a medium bowl, add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar and salt. Stir to combine.
Add milk, eggs, vanilla and melted butter. Whisk together.
Gently fold in the sausage. Add to baking dish and spread evenly. Drizzle 1 tablespoon on syrup over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
