Strawberry Dump Cake

So easy to make!! Only 4 ingredients and the PERFECT dessert!! So fruity and yummy!

RECIPE:

2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 box yellow or vanilla cake mix- lower sugar or sugar free

3⁄4 cup light cold butter, sliced into thin pats


Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Spread the sliced strawberries evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the sugar over the strawberries and gently toss to coat.

Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberries. Do not stir.

Arrange the thin butter slices evenly over the top of the cake mix, covering as much of the dry mix as possible.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the strawberries are bubbling around the edges.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving warm. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
