Ultimate Healthy Apple Crumble

OMG this is to DIE for!!! Clean eating and delicious!!!

One of my husbands FAVORITE desserts!! Warm and spicy!

RECIPE:


Streusel-

1 cup Oats

1/4 cup Flour

1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

1 1/2 tablespoons Melt Plant Based Butter- melted


Filling-

6 cups Diced Red Apples

2 tablespoons Arrowroot Powder

1 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon DAKS Pumpkin Spice (to order: https://daksspices.com/buy-daks

Preheat oven to 350 and coat 8x8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.


Prepare streusel topping- whisk together the oats, flour and cinnamon in a small bowl. Make a well in the center and pour in the maple syrup and melted butter. Stir until mixed well.


To prepare filling- toss the apples with the arrowroot powder m cinnamon and DAKS in a large bowl until completly coated.


Transfer the filling to greased pan and gently press down with spoon. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the filling. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes or until the apples are tender to a fork. Cool completely to room temp then refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving to allow the juices to fully thicken. Cut into 4 equal servings and enjoy!
